Promise Closet

The generosity of a Congregations with Community grant in July 2025 allowed us to expand a formal wear ministry that started earlier that year.

The Promise Closet is a ministry of Parker City United Methodist Church, in partnership with Parker City Christ Fellowship and Parker City Church of the Nazarene, to provide free attire to at least 100 youth for special events. By collecting donations from community members and church partners, and using grant funds to purchase additional formal wear, this ministry helps build self-esteem and promotes dignity among participating youth. Key distribution events will be held during Homecoming and Prom seasons, with ongoing tracking of items distributed and individuals served.
