At Parker City United Methodist Church, our faith is rooted in the love and grace of Jesus Christ, and our mission shapes everything we do.
We believe that:
God Loves All People: We believe every person is created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him. As followers of Jesus, we are called to reach out to all people with love and compassion, reflecting the inclusive and welcoming nature of Christ.
Jesus Christ Transforms Lives: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior and Lord. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness, healing, and the promise of new life. We invite everyone into a growing relationship with Jesus, believing that personal transformation begins with Him.
Spiritual Growth is Lifelong: We believe faith is a journey. We are committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to grow in their relationship with God through worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Spiritual formation is a continual process of becoming more like Christ in heart, mind, and action.
Discipleship Is Our Calling: We believe that to follow Jesus means to live as His disciples—serving others, sharing our faith, and living with integrity, generosity, and humility. We support one another in this calling, encouraging active discipleship in our homes, church, and community.
God Is Worthy of All Praise: We believe worship is central to our life together. In all things, we give thanks and praise to God, celebrating His presence, power, and goodness in our lives.
We are a United Methodist congregation, part of a global connection of churches that hold to historic Christian teachings, a Wesleyan understanding of grace, and a commitment to social holiness and personal faith.
