As of July 1, 2025...Parker City UMC is now part of the new Eastern Rivers District of the Indiana Annual Conference. This is a result of a Conference wide redistrciting initiative.
Our working definition and purpose of the district is:
An extension of our collective witness as the Indiana Conference,
A connection between the local church and the resources of the Conference,
To build and foster relationships,
To support and resource clergy, lay leadership, and congregations,
To encourage and cultivate “the call” of all persons,
To serve as a vehicle of mission.
